Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin was founded by R. Meir Shapiro (1887- 1934) and was the flagship Yeshiva of Poland, attracting the brightest students from over the world. The Yeshiva opened in a grand ceremony, which attracted thousands of people from all over Poland and abroad.
