Fine spice tower. Jewish artist? Poland, 1875. Silver 84, marked.
Fine spice container designed as a multi-tiered tower and adorned with bells, fowl and animals. In the center section is a small door with a bolt.
According to an expert on silver, apparently made by a Jewish artist.
Poland, 1875. Markings: year, manufacturer and quality of silver (84), marked both on the base and the door. Height: 25 cm. Weight: 239 g. Base circumference: 6 cm. The flag on top is missing. The bell inside the turret is detached. Good condition.
