Autograph letter by R. Yechezkel Lipshitz on behalf of the Agudas Ha’Rabonim of Poland to the Agudas Ha’Rabonim of America on the occasion their twenty fifth anniversary. Warmly praising the accomplishments of the Agudas Ha’Rabonim; how the face Orthodoxy in America has drastically improved in the quarter century of the association’s activities.
R. Yechezkel Lipshitz (1864-1932), was born in Reisen and learned in the Talmud Torah of Kelm. He served as Rav in Yurburg, Boisk (where he was succeeded by R. Kook), Warsaw, Plotzk and finally in Kalisch, where he served until his passing. He also served in the prestigious position of head of the Agudas Ha’Rabonim in Poland. He was best known for his classic sefer HaMidrash V’HaMa’aseh.
