Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage Cats and Dogs Crib Quilt Top
Vintage c1930s Cats and Dog crib quilt top measuring 44x57 inches. This is an unfinished with no batting or backing. There are 12 hand appliqued and embroidered blocks, set on point with sweet dogs and cats in pastel prints with solid bows. The 6 alternate blocks are marked for quilting with the same motifs. A yellow cotton solid border frames the piece. The piecing was executed by hand, as well. In very good condition with just a couple of small spots and storage line discoloration across the center. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
