Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Antique White Whole Cloth Quilt c1920s
Antique c1920s white whole cloth quilt measuring 51x78 inches. It is hand quilted with a large feathered wreath in the center, and overall hanging diamond, and clamshells closer to the scalloped border, which is on 3 sides. Binding applied by machine. In good condition, there is a large dark spots and a faded yellow round spot on the quilt. It appears to have at point had Velcro on the back on 3 sides, by machine, and the remnants of the machine stitching is still evident, the Velcro has been removed. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
