Captain Kidd Semi-Mechanical
(Early Converted Still Bank). Unknown American Maker. Originally Produced Ca.1901. Originally made as a still bank, early hobbyists converted several Captain Kidd banks into a toy with mechanical action. The arm holding the shovel has been rigged so it will move up and down when you deposit the coin. These clever creations are as rare as hen's teeth and very desirable.
