Rabbit Postal Express on Tricycle Spelter Bank
Germany - 1910's - 8" Long. This is absolutely one of the most developed and complex spelter still banks ever designed and brought to market. The rabbit, along with the frame structure and wheels of the tricycle, are made of lead. The arch-topped mail chest is made of the type of thick gauge tin one finds used in the toys of German makers from this same period.
