From family gatherings to parties with friends, the image created from this album is of a carefree life enjoyed by the adolescent photographer - hardly aware of the sinister political machinations afoot during the twilight of his childhood years. Images include friends in the countryside, ice-skating on the frozen Main river, family members in formal dress, parties in Rotenburg and Fulda, etc.
