ADOLF HITLERS GERMANY 1937 PRESENTATION EDITION
Presentation edition of ADOLF HITLER'S GERMANY - The First Four Years of the Third (Das Deutschland Adolf Hitlers). Oversized presentation book documenting the first four years of the Third Reich, hard-bound with gilt titles, 11 x 15 inches, Illustrierter Beobachter, published by Verlag Franz Eher, 1937, 128 pages, heavily illustrated throughout, with antisemitic, anti-communist content. The book bears a calligraphed inscription: 'My comrade Herrn Markus Ballhorn in remembrance of his 40 Years Service Anniversary, Kiel 19. April 1943.' This copy also includes the loosely inserted large Hoffmann photo of Adolf Hitler in his office, approx. 10 x 14 inch printed in b/w on heavy paper, ready for framing. This photograph is generally missing from surviving copies. Small tear on pages 114. Complete edition in excellent condition with detailed photographs.
