Catherine Aragon HN3233 - Royal Doulton Figurine
Glossy finish, highly-detailed. Modeled as Queen of England, the first wife of King Henry VIII.
Catherine, dressed in her royal blue and forest green gown with white fur cuffs. She is wearing a broach in the center of her bodice and the lower half of the gown is covered in a delicate hand-painted pattern, showing the artists attention to detail. Catherine is shown in a moment of relaxation, sitting on a wooden bench, with a pillow to her side, as she plays a card game. The pillow has several cards laid out upon it and she is holding a single card in her right hand. She has a small monkey sitting on her lap which she holds with her left hand. Series: Six Wives of Henry VIII. Royal Doulton backstamp. Signed by Michael Doulton. Limited edition number 88 of 9500 pieces.
