Segula Sefer- Likutei Amarim-Tanya. Munkatch 5701 (In the middle of the holocaust).
Likutei Amarim- Tanya, printed in the middle of the holocaust years. It is considered by bibliographers as one of the last sefarim printed in Europe.
Rabbonim of Munkatch in their approbation to this edition: "Hurry, and bring blessing into your homes, since the holiness of this sefer is a segula [protection] in all homes of Bnei Yisrael, and the power of the holy author is in his writing...to be saved from the dangers of the time period and from harsh judgments, with mercy and heavenly kindness"
From the approbation of the Munkatch rabbonim, it seems that the Jews in Hungary did not understand that the holocaust would reach them- they prohibit the printing [by other publishers] of the sefer for the next 8 years.
