Geronimo D6733 - Odd Size - Royal Doulton Character Jug
Series: The Wild West Collection, issued 1985 - 1989. Black, red and white coloration. Doulton backstamp.
Royal Doulton Character Jug, Geronimo D6733. Geronimo (1829 - 1909) was the last leader of the Apache Indians while they were still independent of American Colonial rule. Although he fought many battles to protect he freedom of his people, in 1886 he surrendered to General Nelson Miles, and Apache territory became the state of Arizona.
