Mr Quaker D6738 - Large - Royal Doulton Character Jug
Black, white and yellow coloration.
These jugs were made as an advertising piece for the internal use of Quaker Oats Limited, and a few were sold to members of the Royal Doulton International Collectors Club. They were issued with a certificate signed by Sir Richard Bailey and Michael Doulton. Mr. Quaker was commissioned by Quaker Oats Limited. Limited edition number 2707 of 3500 pieces. Royal Doulton and Quaker Oats backstamp.
