GERMAN WWI SOLDIER'S GROUPING (7)
An interesting grouping of seven pieces belonging to German WWI soldier Heinrich Brand from Lossbruch near Detmold. Brand was taken prisoner by the French on 23. October 1917 at the Battle of Malmaison. Included here is his discharge paper from the Sennelager transition camp at Senne dated 29. February 1920; two black-and-white photographs of two soldiers in Uniform, 3. x 5 inches, removed from an album; an award certificate for the Ehrenkreuz Fur Frontkampfer (Honor Cross of the World War 1914/1918) issued to Heinrich Brand dated 11. February 1936 and the medal with the ribbon; a permit to wear the wound badge in black dated 9 April 1937; and a rectangular 'Erkennungsmarke' or dog tag imprinted '1.K. E.B.R. J.R. 79. 44.' Very good. Should be researched. Seven pieces.
