EMMY GORING
(1893 - 1973) German actress and second wife of Reichsmarshall Hermann Goering. She served as Adolf Hitler's hostess at many state functions prior to WWII and thereby staked a claim to the title of 'First Lady of the Third Reich'. Her book 'An der Seite Meines Mannes' (By the Side of my Husband), by Emmy Goring, First Edition, 1967, Verlag K.W. Schuetz, 337 pages, with photographs, 6 x 8.25 inches. Full signature in blue ink on a page pasted to the front flyleaf with a printed quote by Jean Paul 'Memory is the only paradise out of which we cannot be driven away.' Former owner's ex-libris pasted on inside front cover. Very good.
