Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Manner of/ Attributed: Femme et un Cheval. Graphite on heavy paper, signed and date (10.2.63.II) lower right . Unframed. The drawing offered comprises part of the "Pacific Palisades Collection"; so named for their Southern California location of acquisition from London, England based art dealer Bill Ferrari during the years spanning 2004-2008.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.
