Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Manner of: Sketch of a Nude (9.7.72 IV). Pen and ink on sketchbook paper, signed in upper left and upper right of the paper with various other illegible notes, there is a partial finger print on the right edge of the paper, unframed.
Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.
