ONE DIVISION ONE FAUX WEDGWOOD GLASS IN METAL BUTTON
1 very large 19th century glass cameo set in metal button.
This button similar to ne pictured in the Big Book of Buttons by Hughes and Lester is a very uncommon button to find. The cameo is done in white glass and coated in a color, in this case green, to imitate Wedgewood or Jasperware buttons. This is a beautiful glass in metal example.
Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
