Copy of Rabbi Menachem Deutsch, Grandson of Rabbi David Deutsch, who received this sefer as a wedding gift.
Rabbi Menachem Deutsch (1819 - 1904) was raised in the home of his grandfather, Rabbi David Deutsch. He studied by his uncle, the Maharam Ash, and the Ksav Sofer. He served as Av Beis Din of Galante until 1856, whereupon he became Av Beis Din of Palanka, serving in this capacity until his passing. He brought his grandfather's sefer Ohel David to print.
