Authored by the famous gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ullmann, av beit din of Makov, one of the rabbinic leaders of his generation, known as the Ba'al Yeriot Shlomo after the name of this book. Handwritten author's dedication at the top of the title page to the gaon Rabbi Moshe Pollack, av beit din of Bonyhád and author of VaYedaber Moshe. The back flyleaf bears a lengthy owner's notation handwritten by his nephew, Rabbi Yehudah Pollack.
