תוכן: "ב"ה ח"י למב"י (למניין בני ישראל) אהובי ידידי הרה"ג חו"פ (חסידא ופרישא) וכו' מ' אריה צבי שיחי' לאיט"ו קיבלתי יקרת מכתבו והנני מברכו רפואה שלמה וימלא ד' משאלותיו לטובה, אז בחורף בשומעי כי אין כ"ת בבריאות כתבתי לו מכתב באורך וגם בענייני לימודי אז בש"ע (שולחן ערוך) אהע"ז וכתבתי בעצמי האדרעס וכנראה לא הגיע לידי כ"ת שלא להטרידו ואני שולח אתה באחריות המכתב ממני ידידו דוש"ת בלונ"ח ע"ב רפואה שלמה"

14 שורות בכתי"ק וחתימתו. 15/20 ס"מ. דף מחברת, כתוב בעיפרון. נייר מעט יבש. מעט קרעים קלים בשוליים ובסימני קיפול וקרע במרכז, ללא חסר. באופן כללי מצב טוב. 14

15/20 cm. Notebook page, written in pencil. Slightly dry paper. Slight minor tears in margins and folding marks and tear in center, no gaps. Overall good condition.
האדמו"ר הרה"ק רבי אברהם מרדכי אלתר מגור בעל ה'אמרי אמת' [תרכ"ו – תש"ח] ממנהיגי היהדות החרדית בתקופה שלפני השואה. גאון מופלג בנגלה ונסתר. ממייסדי אגודת ישראל וראש מועצת גדולי התורה. בנו בכורו של האדמו"ר ה'שפת אמת' מגור ובזמנו חסידות גור הייתה לחסידות הגדולה בעולם. היה ברשותו בית עקד גדול מאוד אשר נחשב בזמנו לאחת הספריות החשובות והנדירות בעולם. לאחר מלחמת העולם השנייה עלה לארץ הקודש, ונתיישב בירושלים, שם הקים את החסידות בא"י.
הגאון מקוז'יגלוב – רבי אריה צבי פרומר [תרמ"ד – תש"ג] גאון מופלג בנגלה ונסתר. תלמידו של האדמו"ר ה'אבני נזר' מסוכוטשוב. מחשובי רבני פולין בתקופה שלפני השואה. כיהן כראש ישיבת סוכוטשוב, ולאחר פטירת המהר"ם שפירא מלובלין, כיהן אחריו כראש ישיבת יח"ל.
