Lot containing 22 Antique Engravings, Prints and Illustrations – Synagogues, Jewish Figures, Palestine…
Lot contains:
1. 5 engravings / prints of Synagogues – 3 from Britain, one of the New Synagogue in Berlin one of the ruins of the antique Synagogue in Bir'am. Some are hand colored.
2. 11 Engravings / Prints / Illustrations of Jewish figures and scenes. Among them a printed photo of Jews in Jerusalem, Jews playing ball in the market of St. Petersburg, Jew studying Talmud, Jewish slaughterhouse in London, Yom Kippur at the Synagogue, Jews praying at the Western Wall. Jews in a Sukkah, Bar Mitzvah speech etc.
A few are hand colored. Many are taken from antique periodicals.
3. 5 antique engravings of Jerusalem, Hebron etc. A few are hand colored.
4. Antique map of Palestine and its division among the 12 tribes. 1789.
