The Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Zev Hakohen was born in 1835. From a young age he studied in the famous Hungarian Yeshivos, in Pressburg under the 'Csav Sofer', in Yemring under the 'Machne Chaim', In Balash-Yarmut under the 'Goren David' , in Pupa under Rabbi Shmuel Zommer & in Szerdahelyi under Rabbi Yehuda Aszod.
He served as Rabbi of the resort town Baden Bei Vienna from 1878 until 1913.
He is known by the name of his Sefer 'Bezach Levona'.
He lived in Dioszeg after his marriage & later his daughter & son in law Elyokim & Leah Ernest lived there.
