Gold Handle Presentation Cane
Solid Gold sheet over brass handle cane/walking stick 1850-1910.
These solid sheet of Gold handles were done in repousse work and cased over a brass metal knob or handle for heavier weight. These gold sheet handles were only made in The USA. The enamel handle is marked: "Catholic mutual benevolent association". Brass ferrule is 0.75". The unusual ebonized flexible root shaft is 3ft long. Excellent condition with age related wear.
