Jacket and Skullcap made of Embroidered Velvet Silk - Algerian Jewry, the End of the 19th Century Beginning of the 20th Century
a. A jacket made of purple silk with embroidery.
The jacket is part of the dress of an inner city Jewish woman – fashion which was in style during the 19th century until the first decades of the 20th century.
b. A skullcap in a greenish color with embroidery of gold pieces of metal.
Condition: Wear, mainly on the skullcup. A few tears in the jacket.
