Collection of handwritten novellae of Harav Avraham Shag-Zwebner, Av Beis Din of Kubersdorf.
44 double-sided large leaves. Contains about 25 chapters of novellae on various talmudic and halachic topics such as: mitzvah haba ba’aviera, the time of bein hasmashos, muktzeh, and taaroves.
Harav Avraham Shag- Zwebner (1801- 1876) was a brilliant Torah genius and tzaddik. From his youth he was a beloved talmid of the Chasam Sofer who said, "We haven’t found a talmid chacham as great as the Rav of Shatlsdorf." Harav Zalaman Shpitzer, son- in-law of the Chasam Sofer eulogized him with the words,
“It is known that he was ordained by the Chasam Sofer and one of his greatest students. He loved and respected him greatly.” Harav Avraham Shag-Zwebner authored Ohel Avraham and Drashos Harash.
44 leaves; 88 sides. Autograph. Page size: 36 x22 cm. Good condition. Few pages with creases.
Some chapters have been published in his sefer “Ohel Avrohom”, manuscript hasn’t been thoroughly inspected.
