A Silver Mezuzah Case, Jerusalem, Circa 1950
An exquisitely crafted sterling silver mezuzah scroll case from Israel. Each side has panels depicting the Twelve Tribes, and all are titled appropriately. Finely spun silver filigree wire borders these panels, as well as decorate both ends, culminating in a dome shape. The design and craftsmanship is inspired by the Bezalel school of the 1910's and 20's, this dates to circa 1950.
