AN ANTIQUE CHINESE BRONZE FIGURE OF GUAN YIN
Chinese mid-19th century figurine of bodhisattva Guan Yin figurine. The goddess is depicted sitting in dhyanasana with two hands in dhyanamudra, with a very serene expression on her face and lowered eyes. On the head of Guan Yin is a tiara with the image of Buddha Amitabha, the outer garment is open at the chest, revealing a relief necklace. Stamped with a Qing Tongzhi hieroglyphic mark on the bottom.
