Après l'Invasion? is an original artwork realized by M. E. de Potestat in 1868. Original etching on paper. Signed on plate and dated on the lower left corner. Titled on the lower margin. Passepartout included. Good conditions, except for some spots on the margins. Very rare artwork, representing the city of Paris after an invasion. The impression is very fresh and contrasting. The composition is characterized by a dark sky and abandoned buildings with a carriage in the center of the street. The artwork was realized by M. E. de Podestat, an artist active between 1850 and 1870.
