Wedding invitation for a few days before the Second World War and the occupation of Poland by the Nazis, with a horrible printer’s error which hints at the disaster to come—the groom, bride, relatives, and invitees all presumably perished in the Shoah.
Instead of “in a successful hour” (b’sha’ah mutzlachat) the chet has been elided and the result is “b’sha’ah mutzelet” (a shaded hour).
