The Book of Yonah – illustrated and decorated manuscript, "written by Mary Simon – Jerusalem". Jerusalem [20th century].
Fine manuscript. Calligraphic script on light-bluish paper. Initial words written and decorated in red ink, with gilt letters.
Color illustrations of the fish (portrayed as a mythological creature with wings and horns) on pages 4-5, depicted while swallowing and regurgitating Yonah.
The title "Yonah" is lettered on the front cover within a decorative frame.
