A NAPOLEON MARSHAL PAJOL PORCELAIN FIGURINE
Hand-painted porcelain mounted soldier figurine of Napoleon's Marshal Claude Pajol astride a horse with gilded details and four gilded French Imperial eagles at the edges of the rectangular pedestal, made at Scheibe Alsbach manufacturer in Germany. Claude Pierre Pajol 1772-1844 was a Governor of Paris and French cavalry general during the Napoleonic Wars.Scheibe-Alsbach is a former municipality of Thuringia, Germany, now a part of Neuhaus am Rennweg. A porcelain factory built there in 1835, specializing in the Napoleonic period historical figurines.
