BRITISH AVIATION PHOTOALBUM SHOWS 'GAS ATTACKS'
British aviation photo album, 9 x 6.5 in., bearing 35 original photographs, 6 x 3.75 in. b/w, notably including numerous aerial photographs, images of crashed planes, mid-flight images of a German Albatross and a British R.E.8, and two aerial photographs of 'gas attacks', showing large swaths of land being covered with toxic gas clouds. Many of the pages bear hand-inked captions beneath the images. The album covers are worn with some stains, yet the photographs themselves are in very good condition and affixed snugly to the pages.
