WORLD WAR II GERMAN LIFESAVING MEDAL
German non-portable non-silver Lifesaving Medal, 2 in. diameter and displaying an eagle with swastika on obverse, 'FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER' on reverse. Unmarked, very good. Non-silver wearable lifesaving medals without maker marks were produced after 1939 as replacement pieces or to put on medal bars.
