KURT WECKMANN
(1895 - 1981) Chief of the General Staff of the 9th Army, serving under Gen Adolf Strauss, later led the 274th Infantry Div. in Norway. T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Baden-Baden, Feb. 23, 1961 in German, sending a summary of his military career (included). Also present is a 2.5 x 3.75 in. photo of Weckmann in uniform, signed on the verso adding rank. Two pieces, fine.
