JOSEPH DE GOISLARD DE MONTSABERT
(1887 - 1981) French Commander of the the Corps Franc d'Afrique during the campaign for Tunisia, later commanded the 3rd Algerian Infantry Division with the French Expeditionary Corps in the Italian Campaign. Monsabert then took command of the French II Corps of Gen. Jean de Lattre de Tassigny and took Toulon and Marseille. A.L.S. on Assemblee National letterhead, 1p. 8vo., Paris, 1954, in French. Financial content discussing securities to be sent to him. Fine condition.
