Gold Medal in Honor of Anne Frank, Dutch Government Issue? Unknown Year
The medal is in a decorative frame prepared as a pendant. The obverse of the medal is inscribed: "Ich glaube an das Gute im Menschen [I believe in the good of people] - Anne Frank, 1929-1945" with an illustration of her face, and on the reverse, "In Memoriam Omnium In Bello Defuntorum Jnfantium."
The medal itself is 900 gold, and the frame, 18 karat.
Total diameter 40 mm; total weight 12.16 grams.
Very fine condition.
