Unique Features: The Polish gaon Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzki, Av Beit Din of Ostrov-Mazovytesk, author of the well-known book Klei Chemda, signed on the title page. Gloss in his handwriting on page 33.
Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzki [1866-1928], Among the great rabbis of pre-Holocaust Poland. Founder of Agudat Yisrael and head of Agudat HaRabbanim in Poland. Known by the name of his work Klei Chemda on the Torah in a sharp and learned style, and Shaalu Shlom Yerushalayim on the topic of the forged Yerushalmi on Kodshim, which he (among others) exposed.
Condition: Fine-very fine. Small tear in the corner of the title page without damage to text. New binding.
