Letter of Encouragement in Faith and Blessing from the Toldot Aharon Admor, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kahn, Jerusalem

Letter of encouragement and reassurance for a follower who is experiencing crises. Jerusalem.

Specifications: [1] leaf, paper. 14x21 cm. In his handwriting and with his signature.

Unique Features: The Admor confirms that he received the letter from the chassid with his donation, and diagnoses that "It seems that you are experiencing complete exile. For you are wandering from place to place and you have no money and no honor, you are only broken into tiny shards, " he continues to write: "However, everything is for the good, and we must strengthen ourselves greatly in complete faith so nothing will cause us to fall, as it says in the Midrash Vayetzei ...." At the end of the letter the Admor blesses him: "and may G-d help that you and your luck should be raised spiritually and physically."

Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kahn (1914-1996), was one of the important Admors and founder of the 'Toldot Aharon' chassidut. After the death of his father-in-law, Rabbi Aharon Roth, who was known as 'Rebbe Aharale', most of his followers decided to appoint his son-in-law as his successor. The chassidut flourished greatly in his term as Admor, and centers of the chassidut were established in the city of Beit Shemesh, as well as in New York. He was considered to be one of the main opponents of Zionism, known for his piety and abstinence.

Condition: Fold marks, slight aging stains. Fine condition.
