(This miniature vase celebrates the many colours in which crocus can be found. It is named after Krokus who was a mortal youth who was turned by the Greek gods into a plant bearing his name, the crocus. Centuries later we still delight in this small and delicate flower which brings a kaleidoscope of colour to our world after the cold and dark days of winter have passed.)
