A GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE GROUND COMBAT BADGE
The Ground Combat badge was an award for gallantry in combat. This award has the form of a small oval wreath of oak leaves with a flying eagle clutching a canted swastika. Darkened clouds behind the eagle release a lightning bolt down to the base. It has a horizontal pin and assembly on the reverse. This badge has the maker mark 'RM stamped on the back. Circa 1940s.
