A MONGOLIAN PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC SILVER MEDAL
An original silver vintage Mongolian Medal for Military Merit. The obverse of the round medal depicts a galloping horseman in military uniform with a saber raised above his head. Along the edge of the medal, there is an “Alkhan-hee” ornament covered with red enamel, closing in a ring. The reverse side of the medal is smooth; the number 879 is engraved at the bottom. Weight: 1.4 oz., 38 g.
