HELION JEAN: (1904-1987) French Painter. A leading modernist. A.L., to the verso of a 4 x 6 card photograph, n.p., 1979, to Gerard Leman, in French. The front image depicting Helion outdoors, seated in a three quarter length pose. Helion thanks his correspondent for his letter and states in part `Here you have the card corresponding to a program of last year, and a 12 years old photograph. If you ever come to Paris, you will see the poster of my exhibition at the Grand Palais
