SATIE ERIK: (1866-1925) French Composer. A fine and very attractively written A.L.S., Erik Satie, one page, small 8vo, Arcueil, 9th November 1915, to Monsieur Alexis Rouart, in French. Satie in his attractive and artistic writing states `Good Monsieur Rouart, would you have the kindness to advance me again a payment of an old Louis? If you grant this wish, these twenty francs would bring up my account to a hundred francs.´, further saying in an amusing way `I hope you will accept such a payment on account for this young fifties I am. You are not publishing anything in this moment? That is unfortunate. I have novelties quite funny. I keep them for you right? On a postscriptum, Satie adds `I beg you can forward this to me the soonest. You understand?´ With address leaf to the verso in Satie´s hand. Poststamped. VG
