Robert Bauer was a commercial artist with a concentration in landscapes and portraits. He ran Bauer Art Service in New York. He work was used in a poster to promote the buying of US war bonds for WWII. It was also used to raise money for the China Emergency Relief Committee in 1941. 30 x 35 inches framed; 25x30 inches canvas.
