Shmirah LaChaim - rectification for the plague and all bad things ... compiled by the Ar"i, z"l, and founded by Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli, z"l. Baghdad, 1904. Rare.
The compilation includes: Recitation of the Ketoret passage per the Ar"i's Kabbalah; Seder Masa'ot per the G-dly Kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli; various incantations and amulets integrated with holy Names; segulahs and recommendations, one of which is: "It is also good to cover one's forehead, to walk on the side and not in the middle of the road."
12 leaves, approximately 17 cm. Sifrei Baghdad 134. Uncommon kuntress.
Fine condition: Aging stains. Tear without lack in the margins of the leaves, from cover to cover.
Original jacket cover sewn at the margins.
