John Lennon Suit 1968 w/ COA
John Lennon wore this midnight blue single-breasted suit made by D.A. Milling & Sons. The pants and suit retain labels for D.A. Milling & Sons and the suit are inscribed "John Lennon" and dated reading 1968. Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono would later donate this suit along with an assortment of other personal belongings to a children's world hunger program shortly before his death in the 1970's. The suit was personally made and purchased in 1968, during the height of John Lennon's career. This was a a custom made piece by Dougie Millings & Sons in London, "the tailor to the stars" as reported by New York Times in 2001. Read more on one of the images. See images with samples of D A Milling & Son's labels. Yoko Ono was contacted by the charity now selling this suit to confirm that it is genuine and was donated to a charitable organization as stated in the letter
