Yiddish Story Book about the Ari – Vilna 1912 – Rare Edition
Sipurim fun Rabi Yitsḥaḳ Ashkenazi Lurya, Ha'Ari zal (Stories and tales about the Ari). Edited by Rabbi Yisrael Bamoharim, Vilna 1912. Two parts with separate title pages. Yiddish. Vowelized.
The book includes many stories about Ha'Ari Ha'Kados: his history, miraculous stories, and customs. There are also stories about his students. On the forsatz there are inscriptions in square handwriting, the names of the Ari's students and a short description of them.
On the inner jacket there is an interesting list of books and compositions purchased by the publisher, Reb Mordechai Katzenellenbogen , in order to publish them.
Separate title page on a colorful page, 1-50, [1], 51-114 pp.
Condition: Very Good. Some of the pages are slightly torn Stains from wear and use.
Rare edition. Does not appear in the Bibliography Enterprise.
