a. Three volumes of the book Mishna Berura, parts 1, 2 and 6. Groisswarden 1942. Printed during the Holocaust. Ownership inscription of Shlomo Rosenthal.
b. A three-volume set, parts 1-5, printed in Warsaw between the year 1896-1902. Bound in a leather cover. The owner's names are engraved on the spine: Yaakov Aharon Luria SU"B (Shochet U'Bodek)
Rabbi Luria (1864-1948), a graduate of the "Etz Chaim" yeshiva, served as a shochet (ritual slaughterer) in Egypt. For six years he served as a shochet in Port Said, and for 37 years served in this position in Cairo. In 1930 he returned to Jerusalem.
