This prisoner called Heinrich Miczajka was a Pole born on June 1, 1914 in Brzezie nad Odrą. In 1924, the family moved to Rybnik. He was an official of the Municipal Technical Works in Rybnik. During the Nazi occupation he was a soldier of the ZWZ / AK underground organization. He was arrested on June 28, 1943 and transported to the detention prison in Mysłowice. From there, he was transferred to Auschwitz on 11.03.44 and registered as prisoner No. 175040. He stayed in the camp until 27.01.1945 - he escaped from it, just before liberation by the Soviet army.
